Happy New Year of the Horse

It’s Chinese New Year again and Hong Kong is vibrating with joy as we usher in the Year of the Horse!

There is a Chinese proverb that says, “The year’s planning starts in Spring”, and so we look ahead to pursuing personal goals, peace, love, joy and new opportunities!

This year, for a change, I am back home in Malaysia, surrounded by family, relatives, and friends. It feels incredibly special. One Chinese New Year tradition that I treasure here is “Open House,” where friends and neighbours of different ethnicities come together to share meals — beautifully showing the spirit of unity, inclusion, and togetherness.

Looking ahead to the new year, let us also reflect on the demands that 2025 placed on Christian Action. There were ongoing economic challenges, but because of your faithful support and careful stewardship we continued to respond to our service users needs. Thank you.
