Crossing the Digital Divide

The internet has become a part of my every day life because it offers a whole range of benefits that help me in several areas of my work and home life. When I realised that the grassroots community often lack access to this range of benefits readily available on the internet, Christian Action took steps to do something about it.

Who could have dreamed fifty years ago that a charity would one day think about offering marginalised people access to a Cyber Centre!

Hope fulfilled

When I first met Kristina Zebua, I knew she'd fulfill God’s plan for Christian Action to help abused foreign domestic workers in Hong Kong receive justice. Over the last eight wonderful years, we have touched the lives of thousands of foreign domestic helpers!

Two dreams come true

These 'Thank You' cards say Thank you so much in Chinese and Tibetan!

Xiao Ji and Xiao Jia are two Tibetan girls whose lives have followed a very similar path, as a result of which they share a strong bond.

Their extended families were unable to care for them, so they were placed in Huangnan Children’s Home.  Despite this heartbreaking beginning, the Home became the place where their dreams were birthed.  I’m excited to say that we helped to make those dreams come true.

Cindy's special service

Five years ago Cindy Pearson began her time of service on the Tibetan Plateau with Christian Action. She helped us establish the very first school for severely disabled children in Qinghai Province. Cindy has been our much valued Special Education Consultant at Xining Children's Rehabilitation Centre, but she recently returned to the USA for a well deserved sabbatical.  The school's achievements have been remarkable during her time with us.
