This week I'm introducing you to perhaps the bravest little boy I have ever met. His name is Bin Bin. In 1998, at two weeks old, he was abandoned, probably because he had several congenital deformities. Someone picked him up and took him to the police station. There were no clues and his parents could not be located, so he was admitted to our Children's Home.

Here's some fantastic news! Xiao Shan, who stole our hearts two years ago, has been adopted! This delightful child, abandoned on our grounds at the age of two because she was deaf and dumb, now has a loving Mum and Dad and even a big brother! Hitting her head in frustration is very definitely in her past!

Dear friends,
As you no doubt know this is a special time of celebration throughout Asia. Chinese New Year is our longest holiday on the lunar calendar. We spend the time with our families and friends, cherishing all we have received, and wishing each other health and prosperity for the coming year.
