Our Extraordinary Training Services Division

Back in 1993 Christian Action had a distinguished history serving refugees and migrants. But then we broadened our mission to include serving Hong Kong residents and the impact has been astounding! Little did I know that when I had our Vietnamese Boat People Vocational Training Manager, Nigel Preece, help me to write our first proposal to work with ERB that we would go on to become one of HK's largest ERB retraining agencies!

Since 1993 our Training and Services Division (TSD) have assisted 130,400 people with employment! We’ve had 331,000 course attendees and 16,400 classes. That’s 130 courses, across 15 industries. But it’s not just about quantity - the TSD has operated at such a high standard, that over the years it has received more than 100 awards!

TSD’s impressive performance was recognized yet again at the ERB Annual Award Presentation Ceremony 2023 – 2024. Christian Action was a big winner and received the:

ERB Placement Award (for general stream)
ERB Marketing and Promotion Award
ERB On-line Training Award
ERB Youth Training Award

(And recently we have also received a Certificate of Sustained Outstanding Performance of the ERB Programme in Quality Assurance in 2023 – 24.)
