Christian Action’s 38th Anniversary Volunteer Awards

Last week, on February 7th we hosted a unique, first-ever event at our headquarters building to honour all the volunteers who have served so selflessly over the past 38 years.

The 38th Anniversary Volunteer Awards Ceremony also sought to educate our youth about volunteerism, the opportunities for engagement, and how our community’s needs can be ameliorated in the process.

Our training programmes are designed to meet the marketplace’s demand for skilled workers while also meeting the needs of trainees and local communities.

Great news! Our On Tai Centre Staff & Volunteers have won the Community Investment Inclusion Fund's (CIIF) Social Capital Builder Logo Award! The category was "Flying over Self-Reliance and Mutual Help—House Captain for On Tai Project”, which recognizes individuals, corporations and organizations for their contributions to the development of social capital in Hong Kong from 2020 to 2022!

They Love their Blessings Bags - Join Us Now!

Walking along a street the other day I spied something I hadn’t seen before - that almost every low-income family that was eating out was ordering “two-dish rice”. Traditionally they would never be ordering that at Chinese New Year, but this year is different. The post COVID-19 world of Hong Kong’s most vulnerable is a much harsher place than it used to be, and I want to help.
