Christian Action honoured by Vice-President!

Last week was very busy because there was a very significant meeting on Wednesday, June 22nd in Beijing.

As one of the Directors of the Hong Kong Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (Provincial) Members Association (CPPCC) I was part of a delegation honoured to accept the invitation to Beijing to attend a meeting with the Vice-President of China Xi Jiping (习近平).

The meeting was held in The Great Hall of the People (人民大會堂) and was covered by CNTV. http://news.cntv.cn/program/xwlb/20110623/111781.shtml

As a member of the CPPCC, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to be an advocate for those who have no voice: the poor; the orphans; those who live in remote locations on the Tibetan Plateau, and in fact, all those who need support.

It was indeed an honour to represent Christian Action when I met the Vice-President of China.
