Love Came at Christmas

At this time of the year, we celebrate God's love for us in sending our Saviour, Jesus Christ. At this time, we especially want to share our love for children who have so little real joy in their lives. We did something different this year - we hired a tram and took the kids for a tram ride!

Did you happen to catch the tram full of happy children and whimsical characters a few weeks ago on Hong Kong island? Maybe you did, and were wondering what that was all about. From November through the end of January, Christian Action is hosting its annual Season of Love Charity Drive.

We rented a tram and invited 18 children from our New Arrivals Centre in Mong Kok to come for a ride. We were thrilled to host Prudence Mak, Fatina, and a Bunny from Chocolate Rain! The highlight of my day was seeing the children's joy. They had never ridden a private tram before, so they were bursting with excitement. It was a unique and special outing for them! They were the perfect guests, filling the space with warmth and reminding me why we celebrate love at this time.

The Charity drive is all about sharing love and joy with our friends and family, and to also give to those who are in need among us. We are selling a Palmiers and Cookies Gift Box, featuring Fatina, a character from artist Prudence Mak's Chocolate Rain series. Proceeds from these sales will go towards underprivileged children in Hong Kong and Qinghai.

Would you consider sharing your joy and purchasing one of our Gift Boxes?
