Support Our Stay

As you may know from my previous post, Christian Action is now facing possibly one of the biggest tests we have ever experienced.

After months of exchanges and lobbying with the government, the development plan to rezone the area on Wang Chiu Road, consequently demolishing our base at New Horizons Building (NHB), is now inviting public representations. This means that, until June 13, the public will be able to send their comments on this plan to the Town Planning Board.

My dear friends, supporters and readers, I humbly ask for your support to appeal for our stay at this home. NHB has been our home for over 30 years, and it is having a base like this that we have been able to transform the lives of the disadvantaged in our Lord's name, not only in Hong Kong but also China. For more information on how you can support us, please click here.

Recently we received two very touching appeals from our former children from Qinghai, Bingjie and Abigail, who have testified their transformation:

"At age 11 the family I lived with sent me to the orphanage… I wished for a family that will accept me, and love me for who I am…Thanks to Christian Action, my wish came true…For the community and for the people I ask to keep this building, so Christian Action will continue to help more people and children." - Bingjie

"As an Alumni who was there [at Xining Children's Home] from the very beginning, I have witnessed many positive changes Christian Action has brought to the orphans in Qinghai…I hope Christian Action will continue [to serve] those who are living at underprivileged community and continue to work at New Horizons Building, [as] Jesus commanded us to do." - Abigail

Please help us continue transforming lives, like we did with these two girls, at NHB by submitting a representation through the link above.

We hope to continue to grow and work under His name. In Jesus Christ our Lord, please pray that He will provide us with the best path for us during this critical time.
