New Milestones in 2019

There's something special about the way a new year gives us renewed energy and opportunity to set new goals, change direction, or tackle upcoming milestones. For Christian Action, a new chapter will begin in 2019 with the relocation of our headquarters.

We will be moving out of our 30-year home at New Horizons Building and setting up our new headquarters in a school building in Choi Wan Estate. In the new headquarters, we will have brand new facilities such as the digital learning centre and multi-purpose hall. This will not only continue to provide our existing services, but will also be the birthplace of new programmes. We hope to provide more variety in our services and resources for our new community. Renovation has begun, and I look forward to sharing the latest news as the big move draws near.

Along with our new headquarters, Xining Children's Home will also be enjoying a fresh start in 2019 with an expansion and relocation. The new home, which is still under construction, is seven times larger than the present one, and will house five times as many children. We will be able to care for more little ones than ever before. It was an honouring and humbling moment when we became the first registered foreign NGO in Qinghai. I'm so grateful that God has continued to bless the journey we're on by providing this new home for these beautiful children.

As we move towards 2019, I firmly believe that God will continue to protect and lead us in the work that we do to care for those who need it the most.

I wish you all a Happy New Year! Peace be with you!
