Fact, not Fiction!

For most people, Easter is no more than a holiday break; bunnies and eggs, family and food. For Christians worldwide it's a reminder of the events that took place 2,000 years ago: the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.

When the Easter candle is lit, I'll be remembering the huge stone rolled away, the empty tomb, and then Jesus, speaking to His followers, reminding them that He told them this would happen. God had raised Him from the dead on the third day after the death and burial of Jesus.

Sharing Expertise

Unmet medical needs continue to grow in rural areas of Qinghai. The medical bus donated last year to Qinghai Welfare Charity Hospital Hong Kong (QWCH) by Dr. Victor Lui, one of Christian Action Asia's Board members, now extends its medical safety net to cover the needs of villagers in remote areas.

International Women's Day 2017

On 8 March, it was International Women's Day. Women from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds joined together in Hong Kong to celebrate their achievements against a backdrop of gender inequality. Among the 340,000 migrant domestic workers who currently work here, it is still not difficult to hear of cases of exploitation or abuse.

No Retirement from Service

When Hong Kong was still a Crown colony, Tim was in the British Royal Navy. As a Chief Petty Officer, he was in the highest military rank among the ethnic Chinese soldiers serving in the Navy. After the transfer of sovereignty, Tim then joined a large group as a storeroom-in-charge for handling procurement matters for the Wharf group.
